Dan Lovranski is a life long wrestling junkie who joined the Live Audio Wrestling crew at the end of 1998 as a producer. What this really meant was that Dan just screened callers for the show by aggressively badgering them and ridiculing their requests to know what happened to the Ultimate Warrior.
Eventually, as the others grew less scared of Dan, his duties grew to booking guests, selecting music for the radio program and editor of all online content.
Dan was appropriately nicknamed "The Mouth" by friends in high school, and if he ever crosses your path, your hearing, bad or good, will definitely be tested. It's just that the guy gets so damn enthusiastic whenever he gets talking about his passions, which besides wrestling, include many other facets of pop culture such as comic books and rock'n'roll. All these interests came together as Dan began his broadcasting career by hosting, writing and producing several of his own radio shows, including Just a Little Bit of Everything, Morning Breath and Dr. Mouth's Medicine Cabinet, for the university station in Toronto, CIUT FM. Sorry, but the guy just won't shut up.
In the past, Dan also wrote for Canada's leading music magazine, The Chart, for over 15 years, mouthing off about popular music and other forms of pop culture. Mouth jumped on board in the early days and eventually reached vaunted Senior Writer status after years of CD reviews and long winded band interviews.
Perhaps the scariest of Dan's many personas is the one that he assumed when he was fronting his own wrestling punk rock band Bruiser Brody as they tore up the stages of the rock'n'roll watering holes of Toronto. The guy was a frickin' lunatic. When he wasn't swinging the chain or belting tunes out about bladin', Victoria, TV preachers, race car drivers and those two punk rock staples, working crappy jobs and phony people, he was fighting some nutbar in the crowd. It wasn't for the weak of heart but, it definitely had that old attraction/repulsion thing going on. CDs of the band are still available by dropping Mouth an email.
Nowadays, besides frantically covering wrestling for the LAW and The Fight Network, Dan also has another side project called The Pillow Fight League, which contains real girls having real fights with pillows. It's not the Playboy cheesecake fantasy it sounds like, but rather, a crazed swinging battle between two girls until a winner is declared by pinfall, submission or judge's decision.
