Adam Jones got his start in combat sports as a fighter for Team Tompkins back in 2002. Adam was even roommates with head instructor Shawn Tompkins for a year and a half, giving him an early inside look into the world of combat sports.
His biggest win was over Iowa State Champion in Iowa before he took time away to finish going to school for Multimedia Design and Production.
With these two backgrounds, it was easy for him to land a job in the news room at The Fight Network shortly after it launched. Though life’s kept him busy, he’s still kept combat sports as a hobby, and his most recent accomplishment was winning a bronze medal at the World Kickboxing Championships in Spain for Team Canada in 2006.
His biggest fights now involve getting more kickboxing and K-1 content into the eyes of combat sports fans across North America.
