- (a) "Planet of the Apes - 40 Year Evolution Blue-Ray Collection" (the "Contest") starts Wednesday November 12 2008 at 9:00am (ET) and ends Monday December 1st, 2008 at 11:59:59pm (ET) "Contest Closing Date". Entrants will be encouraged to log onto www.thefightnetwork.com to register, complete registration information in full and then enter the Contest. A random draw by a representative of The Fight Network Inc. ("TFN") will be made on Tuesday December 2nd, 2008 at approximately 12 pm (ET) at TFN's offices at 488 Wellington Street W, Third Floor, Toronto, Ontario, M5V 1E3 from all completed entries received as of the Contest Closing Date. The selected entrant will be contacted by e-mail or telephone at the e-mail address or telephone number indicated on the selected entrant's entry.
No purchase is necessary to enter this Contest. You can send us a postcard with your name, phone number and address to our address above.
One Participant will be eligible to win 1 Planet of the Apes - 40 Year Evolution Blue-Ray Collection. 1 secondary winner will be selected to win a DVD prize pack, which includes Sunshine dvd, X Files Revelations dvd, Batman the Movie dvd, Street kings dvd, and Pacino an Actor's Vision dvd Collection.
All prizes must be accepted as awarded in person by selected entrant and must have valid government license or ID. Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of at least equal value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize.
In order to win, the selected entrants must first correctly answer, unaided, a time limited mathematical skill-testing question via e-mail, fax or telephone. TFN's rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the Contest and the awarding of prizes.
By entering this Contest, each entrant consents to the use of his/her entry, name, address and/or photograph in any publicity or direct marketing carried out by TFN and/or its advertising agencies, without further compensation. The winners consent to their photograph being taken by TFN for such use, without further compensation.
The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrants. All entries which are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by the Contest Sponsor. Contest Sponsor takes no responsibility for lost, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors.
All entries become property of the Contest Sponsor who assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for failure of the Web site during the Contest period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the Contest. Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the email portion of this Contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Contest Sponsor corrupts the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any Web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Contest Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
Contest Sponsor is collecting personal data about entrants for the sole purpose of administering this Contest. Entrant's data shall not be used for any other reason or provided to any third party unless the Entrant grants consent through an opt-in check box on the Contest Registration Page. This Contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by the Contest Sponsor. Entrants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules if they participate in the Contest.
(c) If a selected entrant cannot be reached by Monday, December 8th, 2008 or declines the prize or incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, another entrant will be selected same day.
(d) Contest is open to residents of Canada, except for the province of Quebec, who are of the age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside. Employees or persons living with employees (and their immediate family) of TFN and all its properties, (the "Contest Sponsor") and its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies are not eligible.
(e) There is a limit of one (1) entry per day per person/email address/household any more per day will result in entrant being disqualified . If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s).
