**Tonight on The LAW Dan Lovranski and Jason Agnew will have a full rundown of the week in wrestling and MMA and taking your phone calls at 416-872-1010, *8255 on cell and 1-800-561-CFRB toll free. We will be welcoming author and fellow wrestling radio host James Guttman to the show to chat about his new book "Shoot first, Ask Questions Later" put out by ECW Press along with Aaron Weiss, the producer of "Unstable", which is now airing on The Fight Network. We will also welcome Dave Meltzer from the "Wrestling Observer Newsletter" and we will be giving away a TNA prize pack, which includes a "Final Resolution" T-shirt and 3 DVD's. Tune in tonight at 11pm EST on Newstalk 1010 CFRB, Sirius 98 Hardcore Sports Radio and right here online. You can also post questions for Live Audio Xtra and Ask a Wai, which will be available when you download the show.
**A quick programming note for tonight - I was supposed to sit down and chat with Bobby Lashley today for the show however, Lashley's management never got back to us to confirm a time after they did give us the green light for the interview. Apparently I'm not the only one who has had issues with tracking down Bobby Lashley as he was scheduled for other interviews this past week and failed to conduct them. I only say his publicly because we do run promos on CFRB in Toronto during the week and did promote Lashley as he was scheduled to do the interview but will not be on the show tonight.
**This is one of the quietest weekends I can remember with nothing going on in wrestling or MMA and even boxing had a pretty quiet weekend (though a really hot fight on Boxing After Dark last night). Due to the lack of huge issues - the gamut is open for phone calls tonight on the show - specifically what your interest level is at right now when it comes to the current wrestling product, speaking personally there is nothing connecting for me right now and even looking long term - are there any matches building for WrestleMania that you care about? It seems vert flat right now from both WWE and TNA.
**Former Stampede Wrestling performer Charles Buffong died last Thursday night of a heart attack in Calgary. Buffong had just attended the funeral of his 22-year old son.
**Tomorrow night The LAW will be at O'Grady's Tap and Grill at 518 Church Street in downtown Toronto and we will be giving away a copy of the brand new Edge DVD.
**The WWE website has officially announced it will be Edge Vs Jeff Hardy Vs Triple H for the WWE Title at "Armageddon" on December 14th. It seems pretty foolish to do a title change in this match and you don't want to keep booking Hardy in matches where he comes up short. The logical booking in my mind is Hardy wins the Rumble or makes it to the end and wins the Elimination Chamber in February and then wins the big one at WrestleMania.
**Robert Maillet (formerly Kurrgan in the WWE) is working on the new "Sherlock Holmes" movie and during a fight scene with star Robert Downey Jr., Maillet accidentally connected with Downey Jr's chin and knocked him out cold and he also required stitches.
**Shane Helms has posted photos on his MySpace page of his new tattoo. Helsm returns to TV this week on "Smackdown", which was taped last week in Albany.
**The "Raw" crew is in Reading, Pennsylvania today for a house show while the "Smackdown" and ECW crews are in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The "Raw" and ECW TV tapings are in Washington, D.C with John Cena Vs Kane in the main event.
**If you are in the U.S the third installment of the Oscar De La Hoya Vs Manny Pacquiao "24/7" series airs tonight - the first two have been really solid (not at the De La Hoya Vs Mayweather level but still strong). Even if you are not a boxing fan you should try and check one of the episodes out because the way they put these shows together are state of the art when it comes to a hype special for a fight and the influence of the show has clearly been felt by the UFC and how they have changed their countdown shows over the last year.
**Finally, I just got a copy of "Total MMA" by Jonathan Snowden and I'm only about 100 pages in thus far and this book is really excellent. The information about the formation of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and the teachings that were brought to Brazil from Japan right up to the formation of the UFC and Pancrase is really interesting and I definitely recommend this book. We will be having Snowden on the show next week to discuss this book, which I'm sure many people will be discussing over the next while.
