I attended the show, and it was the best I ever attended. My voice is shot. The heels all got cheered, because it's Toronto and we're like that. But everyone got applause in some form, we were just glad they were here.

Storm was insanely over. The action in the main event spilled over where I was sitting, and chairs started flying. A truly memorable experience!

Hey guys I'm making a petition to get Gotthorm to stop drinking Dan Lovranski's piss from the filthy men's room floor at the LAW. Maybe then, Gotthorm will lose the sour taste in his mouth, and quit leaving his boring tirades against Dan on the boards. Hopefully you guys can pass it along, and help us get rid of this urine slurping ass hat. United we are strong ** replace \ with forward slash ** www.petitiononline.com\Gotthorm\petition.html

This was my first exposure to ROH. I had a lot of fun at this show and the all the wrestlers obviously gave their all so kudos to them. One thing I noticed, though, is that, apart from Sweeney, the heels don't act like heels during their matches. Take Nigel McGuinness. Yeah, he did some anti-Canadian gab but, during the match, I don't remember him doing anything particularly heelish and wound up winning uncontested after hitting his finisher. Great athleticism, don't get me wrong, but where's the heat? I realize Toronto's a heel town but why would anyone "watching at home" feel the urge to "boo" Nigel when he did nothing to get any real heat? Feet on the ropes, roll of quarter in the tights, choke with some wrist-tape... gimme some reason to boo you! I realize I'm likely alone in my thoughts on this next suggestion but I think, after he broke out of the sharpshooter, he should have put the cross-face on Steen for some great heel heat.

I was at the ROH show and the card was good, but I think the shitty venue overshadowed the card. I know personally it was so hot you could hardly breath in the building, the hockey rink glass was still up so you had to stare through it if you weren't on the floor, and everyone had to squeeze through the penalty box to go back and forth to the floor. For a debut show in Toronto I expected more, but I still thought ROH put forth a product consistent with their product, but I would not go back to Ted Reeve Arena for a show. The next Toronto ROH is a double shot with Montreal on Friday, November 07, 2008 and Toronto on Saturday, November 08, 2008. The November show is at the Markham Fairgrounds. I am not sure who is booking these venues but it feels like people are booking venues with the intent to have ROH fail in the Toronto market.

If I called the show they would not put me on the air. I know this because many acquaintances of mine have tried, believe me. Last sunday they made a glip and accidentally let a guy on the air who said Mouth should let others talk and not let it be all about him. They hanged up on him before he could say anything else, because that's the tactic Jason, John and Wai employ to protect senile old Dan. They're worried that if The Fight Network hear criticism of senile old Dan and finally realize they should axe him, then they might have to clear out too. Your comment about me starting my own show if I think I can do a better job is just silly... I have no interest in my own show, but I do have an interest in not letting Dan Lovranski ruin The Law. In case you didn't know, former hosts Tidwell, Abreu, and Marek all thinks he's a joke but they don't criticize him in the open because they still have some loyalty and respect for the brand that they built - they, not Dan. Here's one last little tidbit for ya... the show is often edited before it's made available for download, in order to remove criticism of Dan. A couple of weeks ago there was a caller who had some very harsh words regarding Mouth's interview style and unprofessional onesided portrayal of events to push his own agenda. He didn't yell, he didn't call anyone bad names, he just calmly explained how he felt about Dan Lovranski. Naturally they edited this out of the version they put up for download.

And you know this for a fact?
o No we must have some sort or super insider here!!!!

O Gotthorm Please share your inside knowledge on how much everybody in the wrestling buisness wants Dan off the air...

its pricks like you that ruin these shows when they stop catering to what you like, if you dont like what Dan has to say and we can see you dislike the fact you cant get on and complain to jason or john about all your problems JUST LEARN TO SHUT THE FUCK UP AND NOT LISTEN

Of course they wouldnt let you on the air if you are petitioning to have someone fired. Its their show, they can run it however they damn-well please. If you dont like the show, then simply STOP LISTENING. There are plenty of other wrestling shows you can find. You spamming the board is just tired and dull, especially when people arent here to talk about Lovranski at all, but are instead here to see about ROH, which sounded like an awesome show.

i actually went to the show, i want to thank the law for giving me two free tickets away. the show was good but the arena was too warm and hot. the best matches were the roderick strong match, bryan danielson match and the nigel mguiness match. i did not get to see the tag match, it was like eleven fifteen at night. good show overall and definitley a positive

I was also at the show and PUCKU's comments are pretty much spot on about the show. Marufuji was match of the night. The intermission was wayyy too long and because I'm not familiar with ROH, I was confused about what kind of match the last one was and about who was who.

I was at the show and after sitting at Ted Reeve, I would have to say it's the worst possible venue to ever hold a show. I used to skate at that arena when I was a kid and kids' hockey is the only suitable use for that venue. ROH probably picked the arena because it was the cheapest place to rent in the city. They had a show at Mideval Times put on by Ricky Johnson a few years ago and that was a great venue for a wrestling card and they should consider going back there. It was a joke how hot that arena was and how disorganized everything was. Having said that, the matches were all very good and ROH is definitely the third best promotion in North America right now.

It was bloody hot. The food line was insane. The sound system was from the dollar store. The washrooms were replusive. Intermission was too long. They ran out of beer way too early. But you know what? WHO CARES!!! It was a hell of a show. I loved every minute of it. Seeing Lance Storm was fantastic. The Marufuji - Strong match was unreal. Well worth the $20 I spent for the ticket. Looking forward to November.
